Laughter sessions encourage a sense of playfulness and fun, and can be directed towards team building, confidence building, communication and problem solving, making choices, managing change, and finding new ways to interact with laughter.
Sessions are based on games which encourage laughing and self awareness. Activities are chosen from a kit bag of options to construct the right balance for the event and may include times for discussions and group interactions.
Robin’s facilitation style is to encourage and invite people to join in. People are made to feel part of the group. We don't chuckle at each other, but with each other. Jollity naturally bubbles up.
Laughing helps us rebalance ourselves. It helps us to be healthier and relaxed by decreasing stress hormones, increasing antibodies to fight infections, lowering blood pressure, releasing endorphins which give us the “feel good factor”, and improving respiration and circulation.
